The company was established by a Los Angeles based film industry professional to meet the needs of Hollywood producers filming in Manitoba. The company has extensive experience with the local production environment and is perfectly suited to provide an interface between visiting producers and the local community.

Matt has produced three feature films in and around Winnipeg--Tamara, distributed by Lions Gate, as well as Clive Barker's The Plague and The Lazarus Project, both distributed by Sony Pictures.

Prior to that, he was Vice President of Production and Acquisitions at Kinowelt USA, the US arm of German film distribution giant Kinowelt, GmbH. Before joining Kinowelt, he worked his way through the executive ranks at Pacifica Entertainment, the film financing and production arm of German film equity fund, IMF. During that period, Pacifica/IMF financed numerous films including The Wedding Planner, Nurse Betty, Clay Pigeons, K-19: The Widowmaker, and Terminator 3.

Matt has a B.F.A. from NYU's film school and an M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson.
